For my card this week, I decided to use the little bats from the ALL HALLOWS EVE stamp set. This set is full of so many great images, but I wanted to share how you can take even one image, and build a card around it.
I started by ink blending a background, using my MARSALA, PLUM, and MIDNIGHT surface inks. After my cardstock had a nice blend, I ran it through my die cutting machine with a background die to get the gorgeous cut out design!
Then, I took some black cardstock, cut it down to be able to fit behind my ink blended card panel, and spread some GLOW IN THE DARK GLITTER GLAZE over it. While the glaze was drying, I stamped and colored in my bats using my STYLEFILE ALCOHOL MARKERS.
I also die cut a few more tiny bats with a bat die I have in my stash. Then, I just stacked my layers- my ink blended panel over my black cardstock with the glow in the dark glaze. I trimmed just a bit off the right side, so that I could add some striped washi tape peeking out along the side.
I then popped up my bats with some foam adhesive, and sprinkled some sequins around them. I decided to leave off a sentiment, because I really just loved how it looked without one!
So, thats it! A cute little Halloween card that will thrill the recipient when they find out that it GLOWS!

Those little bats are adorable! And it’s purple! Purple is my favourite colour… Question, does it glow in the dark? I’ve been looking into glow in the dark embossing powders and things but not sure
