Welcome, friends! I have a fun Christmas shaker card to share today. I created this card on my YouTube channel LIVE and it was so fun to have some viewers help me make decisions on this card! I love how it turned out! If you would like to watch the replay, I have included the video below.
I then cut a heart out of the center of my card using a die. This created the window for my shaker. I then added some vellum behind the window. This gives a little bit of visibility yet not much, so the window has more of a frosted look.
To create a wall to keep all my shaker bits from falling out, I used my new huge roll of Brutus Monroe FOAM TAPE. I just added foam tape along the sides, and around the heart. I then filled my shaker with a sequin mix from KINDRED STAMPS.
My sentiment is stamped and embossed, as well, and I cut it down to just a tiny strip of paper that I could adhere across the front. The bow is stamped and embossed, and is from the SKETCHED BOW STAMP SET.
For just a finishing touch, I added a few sequins around my heart window. I love the background colors on this card! It’s a bit untradtional Christmas colors, yet the gold and plaid really helps to make it still feel festive.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed the card, and please follow the links below to keep hopping. The rest of the team has some fantastic projects to share!
