Lucky You Stamp Set by Brutus Monroe!

Hey, crafty friends! I have this cute and fun card to share with you today! The images on this card are stamped out using the new stamp set LUCKY YOU from Brutus Monroe. This set is full of images that make us think of those lucky charms in our lives. Theres a cat, a four-leaf clover, horseshoe, koi fish, and some other darling images! I couldn’t decide which one was my favorite, so I decided to try to cram as many of these images on one card as I could!

I started out by loading up my MISTI with all the images, and then stamping them out with my DETAIL INK. Then, I colored them all in with my STYLEFILE ALCOHOL MARKERS. These markers are so fun to use, and much cheaper than other brands of markers! I added a few highlight details to the images with a WHITE GEL PEN. I think adding just a touch of white gel pen really makes the images pop!

Next, I cut out all the images with my FUSSY CUTTING SCISSORS from Brutus Monroe, and set them all aside while I worked on the background. I used my CACTUS METALLIC AQUA PIGMENT and brushed some on the background. Then, I splattered on some GILDED LIQUID ELEMENTS over that to add some spots of gold. I wanted to try to keep with the color scheme of green, gold, red, and a bit of black.

After my Aqua Pigments were dry, I arranged all the images over it, and adhered them down with a mix of FOAM TAPE and some Brutus Monroe CRAFT GLUE. I then embossed the sentiment in GILDED EMBOSSING POWDER on a narrow strip of RAVEN BLACK CARDSTOCK, and added it just below the images.

I absolutely LOVE the cute images and the bright colors! This would be a great card to give to someone who is starting out on a new adventure or taking on a life challenge.

Thanks for stopping by today! I have a list of affiliate links below if you want to take a look at any of the items I used for this card.

Until next time,
Marie Nicole
