Unity Stamps + Clean and Simple Cards

Hey, friends! Its no secret that I love making clean and simple cards. I think when you get some really amazing images, you want them to be the star of the show, right?

Well, I recently received some red rubber stamps from UNITY STAMPS. These rubber stamps are amazing quality, and the images are beautiful! I used two stamp sets that I wanted to show off in today’s post.

The first stamp set I used was this large image of a girl called, OH HELLO. This is such a fun stamp! If you like coloring hair, this is definitely one for you! I used my STYLEFILE MARKERS to do all the coloring. Since I have a red-headed son, I love giving my images a bit of red in their hair. This girl is rocking the fair skin with reddish-brown hair along with some freckles across her nose. How fun would this be to change up skin tones and hair colors?

I added the sentiment by stamping the “not today” from the set, and then I added the “NOPE” using my SPELLBINDERS GLIMMER HOT FOIL SYSTEM. I think the copper foil looks great with her hair! This was a simple colored image matted on a white cardstock card base, but it turned out so fun!

My next card I absolutely love! I used this kitten stamp set to create a fun birthday card. The kitten was stamped onto an A10 sized piece of watercolor. Then, I masked off the kitten and stamped more groupings of the balloons around it. I love how it makes it look like there are a ton of balloons in this image!

I kept the colors light by adding a little pigment to the images with my ZIG MARKERS, and then spreading that pigment out with my water brushes. I added some trailing strings from the balloons with a micron pen.

The sentiment is stamped out with a sentiment from the set, and then I also Glimmered a few letters to spell out the word, “HEY”.

I really think that if you have some great images, clean and simple cards can still be stunning! This kitten is too adorable!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed these stamps from UNITY as much as I have!

Until next time,
Marie Nicole
