Hey, crafty friends! I am excited to be part of today’s blog hop with SCRAPPING FOR LESS! If you want an amazing Flavor of the Month Kit, don’t miss this one. The theme is Myths and Legends, and this kit is full of amazing goodies! I did an unboxing video for this kit, so if you want to see everything in this box just take a look!
All of the collections in this kit are fabulous, but my two favorites have to be the Pretty Little Rainbows and the Fairy’s Garden collections. For the Pretty Little Rainbows collection, I used the PRANCING PEGASUS stamp set to create a bright, girly, and sparkly card!
I stamped out the Pegasus with my RAVEN DETAIL INK, and colored it with my STYLEFILE ALCOHOL MARKERS. To add shimmer, I used my WINK OF STELLA BRUSH. I layered several of the patterned papers together on this card, and then used some of the shiny letter stickers from the kit to help build the sentiment.
To finish my card, I added a lot of the sequins from the kit around my Pegasus. So cute!
For my next card, I used the Fairy’s Garden kit and the Avery Elle stamp set, FAIRIES. This is an exclusive stamp set just for this kit! There are two adorable fairies, as well as some little butterflies, mushroom, and some fun sentiments.
I again stamped the images with my Raven ink, and colored them with my Stylefiles. I created a scene for the fairies by using my makeup brushes to blend on some ink, and I used my grass stencil from Brutus Monroe to add the grassy ground.
To add shimmer to my fairies, I added some MIDAS AQUA SHIMMER from Tonic to their dresses. I then used a piece of that patterned paper from the kit for the background on my card.
I absolutely love the green, woodland fairies that I was able to create with this kit!
Thanks so much for stopping by to see the Flavor of the Month kit! I hope this has given you some inspiration on how to use your own kit. If you would like to purchase a kit, head on over to SCRAPPING FOR LESS!
