Welcome, crafty friends! I hope you are enjoying today’s blog hop featuring the new Vintage Treasures collection of items designed by Becca Feeken! Becca’s designs are so classic and gorgeous, and it was a joy to play with these!
For this card, I used the Marquise Diamond Suite Glimmer plate along with my Glimmer Hot Foil System and some gold foil. The glimmer design in itself is so gorgeous, that it really doesn’t need much else in order to have an amazing card!
I first ran my white cardstock through my Platinum 6 with my woodgrain embossing folder from Fun Stampers Journey. Then, I embossed the Marquise design over my embossed panel. You still get some of that texture through the foil, and I think its a lovely feature!
I glimmered the design twice, and then trimmed down one panel so it was smaller than the bottom panel. Then, I layered it over the bottom panel, lining up the designs so it would continue even though its on different layers.
Then, I stamped out some flowers from Stephanie Low’s Peonies Blossoms stamp set, and colored them in with alcohol markers. I love the white on this card, so I kept the flowers white as well, by adding just a little grey in the folds of the flowers for some shading.
I finished off this card by adding a sentiment from a Fun Stamper’s Journey stamp set, and a few gold sequins.
Next, I decided to go Christmas! It’s never too early to get started on some Christmas gifts, and this Adorned Notebook die set is perfect for creating custom gifts! I love that you can cut out a little notebook cover that even has a cute little pencil holder!
I used some specialty papers from my stash to create this little notebook. The base pieces are some heavy weight cardstock, with the striped cardstock having silver foiled stripes on it. I also cut out some cotton handmade cardstock with some embossed texture on it.
Having so much texture and stripes going on, I decided to leave the front pretty and plain, and just added a simple ribbon bow to the top. You could also add a magnet closure, or even a ribbon tie to the bottom if you wanted to!
I found the perfect little size of notebooks to fit in here- they are 2 7/16 x 4 1/4. They fit on the inside and leave just enough room to add the pencil holder on the side! I just think these would make fantastic gifts for Christmas, or even teacher gifts!

Unique design on your card. I like that the design was foiled on both layers and the white flowers give it a monochromatic look. So classy. That paper on the notebook is super cool as well.
