Hey, friends! I have two simple yet pretty cards to share today! The main focal point on these cards is the July Die of the Month from Brutus Monroe! They recently launched their Die of the Month Club, where each month you get an amazing die to create with! This month’s die is this details floral design.
I cut this design several times. I left one white, and ink blended over the other one. Adding some color makes the design pop, but leaving it white and using it as a subtle background looks great, too!
For the white one, I also used a panel of plain white cardstock, and cut a frame by using a rectangle die and cutting out the middle. I kept the inside rectangle piece to use on my second card, and used the frame to adhere the die cut design behind. I then added a heart and a simple “thanks” cut with some gold cardstock. I think this is the perfect card for a thank you, or even a wedding card if you change up the sentiment!
For my colorful card, I took the leftover rectangle piece that I cut from the white frame of the first card, and adhered the ink blended die design over it. I then trimmed the edges off the die design to have it perfectly flush with the rectangle.
I then popped up the rectangle panel on a card base with foam tape, and then added another simple sentiment and small black heart. The concept of this card is basically the same, but adding color and popping it up on foam gives it a totally different look!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope this gives you some inspiration to get into your own craft space and create for yourself!
