Glitter Cardstock Background Christmas Card

It is never too early for Christmas cards! I wanted to share a super simple card today that is easy to glam up for Christmas, simply by using some glitter cardstock as your background!

I created this card by using some MIDNIGHT TOPAZ glitter cardstock from Tonic Studios. I cut it down to an A2 sized card front. Then, to add a little more something special, I splattered some white paint on the background to look like a snowy sky.

Next, I die cut a number of snowflakes using the LARGE GIFT BOX DIE SET from Tonic. I used just the two little snowflake dies from this set. I also used the FALLING SNOW WREATH die set to create a little snowflake wreath that my sentiment is nestled into.

Once I had all the little parts die cut, I just arranged them onto the glitter cardstock and glued them down with some Nuvo Deluxe glue. Super simple! I embellished a bit more by splattering on some Sparkle Silk from Fun Stampers Journey, and added a few Glitter Drops from Nuvo.

I also tied a little twine bow and adhered it right underneath the sentiment. I love how this card is so super sparkly, and then covered with the bright white snowflakes.

Thanks so stopping by! I hope this card has inspired you to get started on your own Christmas and holiday cards! It will be here before you know it!

Until next time,
Marie Nicole
