Tropical Sunset with Unity’s Time to Refresh Stamp Set

Hey, friends! I have one more card to share with you using the Time to Refresh stamp set from Unity Stamps. I have created several more cards with this stamp set, and I am making an effort to use more of my stash in unique ways to show that our stamps and supplies have more potential than we know!

The first thing I did with this card is I taped my white cardstock down onto my craft mat using painters tape. I then used my mini Distress Ink cubes to blend a sunset background. I used several colors of blue for the water, and blended them into the sunset sky, where I used yellows and reds.

I left a circle of white where I wanted it to look like the sun was setting behind the water. I then took a little water and splattered it onto the blue ink to really give the impression of water for the ocean.

For the Time to Refresh stamp set, I used the palm leaf and stamped it over the sky with Versafine black ink, making it look like the silhouette of palm trees.

Finally, I added a strip of glitter cardstock to the top and bottom of the scene, and then added the sentiment by cutting out some bold letters using Altenew dies and RavenΒ  black cardstock.

Such a fun and easy card to make! Minimal supplies were used, too. Mostly just inks and a few cardstocks and a stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by today! Ill have links to everything I used down below. I do use affiliate links, which gives me a small commission if you choose to buy through them, at no extra cost to you! Those small commissions are what makes it possible for my blog and YouTube channel to keep going, so THANK YOU!

Until next time,
Marie Nicole
