Clean and Simple Steampunk- Ink Blended Clouds

Hey, friends! This week I am playing around with the Steampunk stamp set from Brutus Monroe. I have been trying to use my stamps and supplies in more ways than one, so you will probably see a few more designs with this stamp set coming up.

This card is a more clean and simple design than my last one, which was more of an art journal style. I started this card by stamping and coloring the steampunk blimp, and then I fussy cut it out.

I then grabbed my Distress Inks to ink blend the background. I added some Squeezed Lemonade first, and then ink blended the clouds over that using some Twisted Citron along with a cloud stencil.

Once my clouds were all ink blended on, I added a little more green with some Mowed Lawn along the bottom of the card.

I then added some sparkle and splatters by taking my Gilded Liquid Elements along with my Aqua Pigment Brush and splattered it on, keeping the splatters mostly to the bottom of the card.

I finished this off by stamping the sentiment from the String Lights stamp set and some Versafine black ink.

The blimp is popped up with some Craft Perfect foam squares. And that finishes the card today!
