Welcome back to the blog! I hope you’ve been enjoying seeing different ways to use this Steampunk stamp set from Brutus Monroe! Today, Im making a card similar to the first one I created, but I did some creative masking to give our girl a wardrobe change.
I started by stamping out the girl onto some masking paper, and then fussy cutting just the hat. I then used the hat mask to cover the hat on the stamp when stamping, so I would end up with the image of the girl without the hat. Then, I used the other hat in the stamp set to stamp on her head. Fabulous wardrobe change!
Then, I masked off the girl and her hat, and started on my background. I stamped the Floral Tapestry background stamp from Unity, and then ink blended over it with Distress Inks. After the background was all ink blended, I removed the masks and colored the girl with my Stylefile Markers.
I added the sentiment, “So Fabulous”, from a Fun Stampers Journey stamp set, embossed in Gilded Embossing Powder.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you are enjoying these ideas for using the Steampunk stamp set from Brutus Monroe!
