Ombre Background with Nuvo Embellishment Mousse

Hey, friends! Have you tried Nuvo’s Embellishment Mousse yet? I have just started playing with it and Im in love! This Mousse has so many uses that I hope to be sharing with you on the blog. Today, I wanted to show you a super simple way to create an ombre background with two colors of Mousse.

To begin, I used the colors Pink Poppy and Fusion Red. Pink Poppy is from the new Blue Blossom trend and I think this trend is my favorite of the year! Full of soft pinks and deep blues- its gorgeous!

I used a Dual Ended Blending Brush to apply each color. First, the red, and then the pink. I made sure to overlap the colors slightly so they would blend and give that beautiful ombre look.

I did notice that working with the Mousse, if you work with it a little on your craft mat before applying it, it does soften up and get a bit creamier.

After my Mousse background was dry, I added some Glimmer Paste over an Altenew stencil to add tiny stars. This paste is Strawberry Glaze- also from the new Blue Blossom trend.

Once the Glimmer Paste was dry, all I needed to do was add a sentiment and then mount it to a card base. So easy! Can you imagine the color combinations you could create with this Mousse?
