Spellbinders October Glimmer Kit!

Hey, crafty friends! Have you been waiting to catch a peek at the October Glimmer Kit from Spellbinders? This month’s kit is absolutely FAB! If you love all things Fall like I do, you will love this kit!

I love all the pumpkins and leaves included in this kit! I decided I wanted to show them off by simply Glimmering them onto some Bristol Smooth cardstock, and then coloring over the glimmered images with my Zig watercolor brushes. How amazing is it that you can use gentle mediums over this hot press foil?

After I had all my glimmer pieces foiled and colored in with my Zigs, I die cut them with the coordinating dies from the Glimmer Kit. Then, I grabbed some light, creamy yellow cardstock for my card base. I also cut tiny strips of cardstock of other colors, including glitter cardstock, to create a design on my background before adding my arrangement of glimmered images.

When you tilt the card to capture the light, that copper foil shines, and really shows off the fall palette of this card!
