New Stamps!

Hey, crafty friends! Tonic Studios is releasing FOUR new stamp sets and they are super cute! YOU CAN FIND THE NEW COLLECTION OF STAMPS HERE. I’m sharing three cards in this post that I created with these new sets. My first card features the small images from the UP IN THE AIR stamp set. This set has a large and adorable image of two kids in a hot air balloon, but I wanted to show you how you could also use the smaller images to stamp out a pattern and build a card.

Watch the Creation Process

Stamp Your Pattern

I started out by arranging all the small stamp images onto my stamp platform. Then, I used my black hybrid ink from Nuvo to stamp them out. To continue my pattern all across my card front, I simply arranged the small stamps again, filling in all the areas and spaces on my card front.

Color It In!

Next, with all my patterned background stamped, I simply colored in the little images. I used my alcohol markers to do this. Since these images in my pattern are so small, I didn’t worry too much about shading. I just simply colored. I used pinks and blues for a Valentine’s Day look.

I then finished the card by fussy cutting some clouds and little birds and arranging them over a die cut heart. I also slipped a piece of vellum between the sentiment and the background. This just mutes the background a bit so that the images and sentiment in front doesn’t get completely lost in the pattern. The sentiment is a die from Tonic Studios, and reads “with love”

Unicorn Wishes

Like I mentioned, there are FOUR new stamp sets coming! I created two addition cards with these sets that I’ll share with you below! The first one is this fun unicorn card featuring the new UNICORN WISHES stamp set. I simply ink blended the background, colored and fussy cut the images, and added them to my card front. For a little sparkle to finish, I added some sequins.

Combine Stamp Sets

My last card today combines two of the stamp sets releasing. I used the FLOWERS FOR YOU and A CUP OF HAPPINESS stamp sets together to create a stack of teacups filled with flowers.

I stamped and colored all the images with alcohol markers. Then, I fussy cut them out and arranged them over an ink blended background. Again, I used some vellum to separate the patterned background from the images in front. I also embossed the sentiment, and added some shiny sequins to finish!

Hi Marie, these are really cute cards, I appreciate your sharing. I like all four sets, but the cups and little houses are my favs. Of course, for some reason the unicorn makes me smile as she is really chubby. These are very sweet.

  3. Wowza, these are so so cute!
