Spellbinders September Small Die Club Kit

September Small Die Club Kit!

Hey, friends! Welcome back for a look at the new kits for September at Spellbinders! Im showing off the Small Die Kit in today’s post. This kit is so versatile, I thought I’d show how to create two different seasonal cards.

Watch the Video Tutorial

Die Cut Your Diamond Frames

This kit comes with two different frames you can cut. In my video, I show how you can go ahead and cut these frames and then assemble them. I used gold paper to cut an Autumn-themed frame, and then green for Christmas. You can pretty much do any season or occasion with these frames!

For my Christmas card, I cut three green frames, and layered them together to make it looks fuller. Then, I cut the little flowers included in the kit from red paper, and layered them on top.

For the sentiment, I cut the letters from the kit out of gold cardstock. I used the “thank you” sentiment because I usually find that I need holiday thank you cards after Christmas! I like to send them out to those who gave gifts or invited us over for a party or dinner. Great to have ready to go before Christmas!

Switch up the Seasons!

Like I mentioned, you can definitely switch up your themes and seasons with this die kit! I created Christmas in my video, but I also went ahead and made an Autumn themed card.

I started by cutting out the diamond frame from gold cardstock. Then, I marked with a pencil where my frame would be on my card front so I could add some stamped leaves underneath. Then, I removed the gold frame, stamped my fall leaves around my pencil marks, and then went ahead and adhered my frame down.

I then added some flowers from the kit around the frame, as well as some gold and clear sequins for sparkle! I stamped and embossed the sentiment (before gluding down the frame). The sentiment and leaves are from an older Fun Stampers Journey stamp set (I’ll link it below if it is still available).

I hope this gives you a clear look at the kit for September and offers some ideas and inspiration for your own crafting!

Until next time,
Marie Nicole
