Welcome back, friends! I am taking part in a blog hop today featuring the October Club Kits from Spellbinders! I already shared a few posts featuring the Glimmer Kit and the Small Die Kit, and both are gorgeous! Today I am sharing another way to use the Small Die Kit.

If you saw my previous post featuring the Small Die Kit, you know that the kit cuts out some intricate leaf designs that you can piece together to build a autumn frame for your cards. I used the same die pieces and turned the the opposite way I used them before in order to create a design on the center of my card.
To add some fall color, I cut the paper from Bristol smooth cardstock and used my Zigs to give it a watercolor look. Then, since I love adding shimmer to all my cards somehow, I used the new Nuvo Aspen Gold mica mist over the die cuts for some gold shimmer.
I glued the die cut pieces down onto a cardstock panel that I embossed with an embossing folder from Fun Stampers Journey. This embossing folder adds a raised woodgrain design to the cardstock which went well with the rustic fall theme of the card.
To finish my card, I added the “grateful” sentiment using the die from the kit cut from black cardstock. Then, I added a twine bow, and also some gold and black saucer sequins around the card. I love the simple, Autumn theme this card bring.
