Pinkfresh Studio March 2021 Cling Stamp, Stencil, Die, and Hot Foil Release

Welcome to the Pinkfresh March Hop! All the new items from the release are absolutely GORGEOUS! I was able to create a few cards using the new Thank You So Much hot foil plate and the Folk Garden stamp and die set.

I love that both the stamp and the hot foil plate have coordinating dies available. This makes it possible to cut out the sentiment and the florals to be able to layer them onto your cards and projects.

Stamp, Color, Cut

For my first card, I created a slimline that shows off the large foiled sentiment. I foiled the sentiment, then used the die to cut it out. I also used the die with just plain paper to make two more cuts, so I could stack and glue the layers together to give my sentiment more dimension.

The florals I then stamped using the Folk Garden stamp. I colored them in with alcohol markers, and then cut them out with their coordinating die. I colored and cut out several sets of these flowers so I had plenty to make several cards.

For the background of my slimline, I added a little light ink blending using the Pinkfresh ink color Lemon Whip. This is the perfect light yellow! It added a bit of color without being too overwhelming. I also added a few strips of light blue cardstock to the corners, then layered the Folk Garden flowers over the stripes.

Shake it Up!

My second card is a fun shaker card. I used the die for the hot foil plate to cut out the window area on the top card layer. Then, I placed the top window layer over another card layer, and nestled the hot plate into the cut out area so that my foiled sentiment would be perfectly lined up. I then used some washi tape to keep the plate in place as I foiled it.

For the front card layer with the window, I ink blended some light rainbow colors on the bottom of the card. Then, I added the window by gluing some clear plastic to the backside.

I then added foam adhesive all around the window on the back, making sure there were no gaps so that my sequins and shaker bits wouldn’t fall out!

I added a pile of the shaker pieces right on top of the sentiment, then lined up my top window panel and adhered it down.

Once my window was in place, I glued bits of the Folk Garden flowers all around the edges of my card. Love how the look of this card turned out!

Beautiful cards and great ideas! I am not into shakers, much, but love the idea of cutting the panel with the word die, then adding the foiled image under the but part.
