Mini Wobble Cards- Sweet Cardlets by Spellbinders

Welcome back, friends!

I’m sharing a few little glimmer sets from Spellbinders today. These are part of their Sweet Cardlets 2 collection and they are so darling!

Make sure you check out all the SWEET CARDLET SETS HERE.

Glimmer and Color

I love that after you glimmer your paper with your foil and Glimmer machine, you can go ahead and color right over the foil. The foil resists gentle mediums like watercolor and ink if you want to ink blend over it. I chose to color this little bird and deer with some Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. These are markers that react with water, giving you a watercolor result.

I foiled my images onto Bristol Smooth paper because this paper gives the best result when used with Zigs. It also takes foil very well, since foiling on smooth paper works better than on textured.

Die Cut Sentiments

These Sweet Cardlet sets do come with some coordinating sentiments, but I wanted to mix and match the fonts and build on to those sentiments. I used a Spellbinders alpha die set to cut the additional words “hello” and “tweet” to support the glimmered sentiments.

The die cut sentiments worked perfectly on the front of my mini slimline cards. Each mini slimline measures about 6X3, and its such a cute little size to work with!

Wow With a Wobble!

After my die cut sentiments where adhered to the front of my cards, I added the little bird and deer head using an action wobbler. This is just a little plastic spring you can add to card elements to make them wobble. So fun!

I then finished the card by mounting my card fronts onto foam adhesive and adhering them to a light grey cardstock base. I then added some enamel dots for a little more embellishment fun.

Such a fun little set of cards, and these little glimmer sets from Spellbinders works great with this mini slimline size!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Until next time,
Marie Nicole
