Spellbinders November Glimmer Kit- Foiled Christmas Borders

It time for the new glimmer kit release from Spellbinders! This month they have given us some more glimmer borders- but Christmas themed!

I made a few shiny, shimmering cards for this release. A little foil and a touch of color from alcohol markers can go a long way!

*Disclaimer: I just woke up when I filmed this video. The coffee hadn’t kicked in yet. I’m a little low energy here. Just keepin’ it real, y’all!*

Glimmer a Background!

I used the floral glimmer border to repeatedly glimmer across my card front. This gave me a full glimmered background that I was able to add color to using alcohol markers!

Glimmered and Stacked!

For my second card, I glimmered the diamond pattern three times, and stacked the layers over each other using foam adhesive. I then colored in some of the diamonds with red marker. Super simple! The poinsettia flower is added from a previous Spellbinders Christmas Die set.

For both of my cards, I finished them off with some gold embellishments from Spellbinders. These cards obviously needed more bling.

That’s it for today’s post. Thanks so much for stopping by! Make sure you head on over to SPELLBINDERS to sign up for their monthly subscriptions if you haven’t already.
