Hey, crafty friends!
I’ve got a few fun and bright cards to share with you today. Im using the die set, Love You More, from Spellbinders. This set cuts out the sentiments you see on these cards, as well as the shadow piece to layer the font over. I cut the shadow with some vellum and layered the cardstock sentiments over it.
Ink Blended Backgrounds!
To begin my cards, I grabbed my Distress Oxides and got to blending! I tried out a few new-to-me combinations. The warm yellow, pink and red ink blend uses the colors Squeezed Lemonade, Worn Lipstick, and Candied Apple. I love that seamless transition from yellow to orange, then pink and finally red.
My more jewel-toned card uses the colors Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, and Picked Raspberry. Such a bright comination!
I also wanted to play around a bit with the love theme, so I grabbed my hearts glimmer plate from Spellbinders and pressed my hot foil into the background using black hot foil.
Hope you enjoy today’s cards!
Having a sentiment die set can be so much fun to just slap over some bright backgrounds for an easy card or two!
