Hello, crafty friends!
I’m crafting up some Christmas cards with this new release from Spellbinders. Their Celebrate the Seasons collection is full of festive fun. I have the sleigh die set as well as some of their other Christmas themed goodies that I have mixed and matched to create today’s card.
I first cut out all my die pieces using watercolor paper. Then, I added the color with some watercolors from my art supplies. I kept the watercoloring very simple with just a few layers of colors. Nothing fancy! I love how it adds a texture to the colors, though.
While my watercolor pieces were drying, I glimmered the background with this plaid glimmer plate also from Spellbinders (all links to all products will be listed below!). I also cut out the arch panel from ivory and then did a little ink blending around the edges for a more vintage feel.
Once I had all my pieces ready, I assembled them onto the front of my card. I added lots of foam adhesive between layers for dimension. I also added some finishing thouches with some gold pearl embellishments, some white splatters, and some snowy glitter on the edges of leaves and flowers.
The sentiment was glimmered and die cut before adding on to finish this card!
Hope you enjoyed today’s card. Have you started Christmas crafting for this year yet?
Until next time,
