I have THREE cards to share with you today- two that I created, and one that I created with my 3 yr old son. He had a blast getting into my supplies and creating his (very first!) Christmas card! I have a video below of my kit unboxing, as well as creating two of these cards.

For my first card that I created with this kit, I added some of the glitter tape diagonally to the front of one of the blank cards. Then, I cut one of the pieces of patterned paper at a diagonal and layered it over the tape. I then selected a group of the die images included in the kit and arranged them over the glitter tape and paper.

I kept the theme of this card with the hot chocolates and peppermints, so I selected a chipboard sentiment sticker that also had a peppermint on it, and added that as well. To finish off this card, I added a bow with the bakers twine, and a few of the enamel dot stickers.

My next card I think is my favorite, because my 3 yr old son and I created this one together. My son is always getting into my craft supplies and wanting to craft with me, so it was fun letting him design a card here. I let him pick his paper and embellishments, and helped him with some of the measuring and cutting. I love that this kit is so user friendly, and with a little guidance and direction, you can even create your Christmas cards with your kids!

My son loved this little snowman in a snowglobe, so he added that on foam adhesive, and then we embellished with more of the enamel dots, bakers twine, and a chipboard sentiment. This Christmas card will most likely be going to one of his grandparents!

For my last card today, I created a fun background using some scraps of patterned paper I had left from the previous projects. I did not get this card in my video, but the concept is simple. I cut my scraps of paper into strips about the same width as the glitter tape. Then, I adhered them down to the card front on an angle. This creates sort of a quilted background, which is so fun and festive with all those patterns!

I used one of the journaling cards to layer over the background, and adhered it down with foam adhesive. I wrapped some of the twine around the card, tying it into a bow. I finished this card by embellishing it with a few chipboard star stickers. Since this card has a lot going on in the background, it didnt need too much for embellishing!
