Welcome, friends! Today I have the privilege of sharing with you the FLAVOR OF THE MONTH KIT from Scrapping For Less! This kit is packed full of fun items, so let’s get started!
I have an unboxing video here showing all the goodies and a few projects I have made!
The first kit I worked with is this lovely butterfly themed one. It contains a variety of shimmery papers in black and silver. There is also a fun little stamp set, which I used the little butterfly image from to create a stamped butterfly “wreath” on the front of my card. I also embellished with a bit of sequins from the kit, and matted it on one of those gorgeous, glittery papers!
Next, for kit #2, I used these rustic, shabby chic papers and embellishments to create a pocket page layout to go into my memory planner. I love keeping a journal to write down memories and display my photos in. I printed two photos of my baby girl, and then added some papers and embellishments to this pocket page. I even whipped out my Fuse Tool to create a shaker pocket with the sequin mix included in this kit!
On to kit #3! I created another card using the adorable little Santoro stamp and some of the patterned papers included. I colored this girl using my STYLEFILE MARKERS, and then added some Wink of Stella on top (not included in the kit). I then layered a few papers behind her, and finished off the card by embellishing with the sequin mix from the kit!
Last, but not least, this more masculine kit was so fun to play with! It comes with a selection of printed papers, a little stamp set, a sequin mix, and some other bits. I used the stamp set to stamp the hat and bow tie onto the papers. Then, I fussy cut them out. I created a card base with the grey cardstock in the kit, and simply stamped a sentiment and added the stamped images to the front. A perfectly clean and simple card! I have found that many of the guys I mail cards to prefer just simple cards, and I have to say I love this one, myself!
So there you have four kits that are so fun to play with! Each one is put together so well- all of the items coordinate and takes the guesswork out of trying to pick papers and embellishments on your own. I also was able to play with some fun add-ons in the Banana Split pack. This little pack has a word die, another stamp set, white gel pen, and some gorgeous self-adhesive flat back pearls. I used the “sparkle” die on my pocket page, and the white gel pen came in handy when adding details to my stamped images. So fun!
I hope you enjoyed a look at these creations using the FLAVOR OF THE MONTH KITS by Scrapping for Less! Please head on over to their shop to see the kits!
