Pinkfresh Studio February 2022 Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Hot Foil Release

Welcome to the Pinkfresh Studio Blog Hop! We are celebrating many gorgeous new items that just released.

Im sharing a few simple cards using the SONGBIRDS ON BRANCHES collection, as well as CHRYSANTHEMUM SLIMLINE collection. Both are gorgeous!

JUST THE BRANCHES

Like the name suggests, SONGBIRDS ON BRANCHES does indeed include songbirds on branches. But for this card, I just used the branches. I foiled the design with the foiling plate that is included with this collection, and then cut out the images with the coordinating dies. Then, I used the leftover foil to foil back onto another piece of cardstock to give me the foiled reverse of the foiling plate. Great way to use up those foil pieces so there is no waste!

I set all my foiled pieces to the side while I created the simple background using the new FLORAL GRID Coverplate Die. I love the design it creates in your cardstock.

I added that to a card base with some foam adhesive, and then arranged my branches over it. I embellished with some Pinkfresh gems, and then added the embossed sentiment, taken from the new CHRYSANTHEMUM SLIMLINE set.

If you look closely you can see that I added the branches that I colored with alcohol markers, and then layered some of the reverse-foiled branches behind.

NOW ADD THE BIRDS

My second card is very similar to my first, but this time I added the birds! Again, I cut the background with the FLORAL GRID coverplate die, and added it with foam adhesive.

Then, I added a few branches that had the birds on it. I colored the birds with alcohol markers. To give the birds on branches a little more dimension, I cut out some plain cardstock using the coordinating die and just layered it behind. This popped them up just a bit without having to cut tiny pieces of foam adhesive!

Lastly, I added the sentiment from the CHRYSANTHEMUM SLIMLINE and then some little red hearts. Too cute!

BIG AND BOLD

My final card for this hop is featuring the CHRYSANTHEMUM SLIMLINE. This flower is big, bold, and gorgeous!

I stamped and them watercolored using my Zig watercolor markers. Then, I cut out the flower using the coordinating die from Pinkfresh.

I added the flower to a slimline card base that I cut with the Blanket Stitched Slimline die from Pinkfresh (after adding some splatters, of course!).

The sentiment is stamped and die cut using the CHRYSANTHEMUM SLIMLINE stamp and coordinating dies. I adhered that on, and then embellished with more Pinkfresh gems.

Lastly, I added some black stripes behind the front card panel.
