Brutus Monroe March Stamp Club + BLOG HOP!

Normal is Boring - Brutus Monroe Stamp Club - Marie Nicole Designs

Hey, friends! Welcome back for another weekly blog hop! For today’s hop, we are featuring the Subscription items from Brutus Monroe. There are so many subscriptions that are available! Im featuring the STAMP OF THE MONTH. It’s this cute little tulip image that I paired with the SHARP STUFF stamp set. The tulip fit perfectly inside the pots from the stamp set!

I stamped out all my images and then colored them with my STYLEFILE MARKERS. Then, I fussy cut them all out. I set the images aside while I built my super simple background!

I took my ARROW stencil from Brutus Monroe and applied some yellow and green SURFACE INKS over it. I wanted to highlight just the middle of the card so I could layer my images over it.

Then, I added my sentiment. I grabbed one of the sentiments from the BE UNIQUE stamp set, and embossed it in RAVEN EMBOSSING POWDER. I love the humor of this sentiment with all the images.

Then, I adhered my flowers and my little cactus with some liquid glue and some foam adhesive.

Such a simple card but I love mixing up my stamp sets! The tulips are this month’s stamp club stamp, and the BE UNIQUE and SHARP STUFF sets are both being retired, so they are on sale in the store now! Grab them if you want them!
