Welcome friends! The new release over at Brutus Monroe has finally been revealed! This is the biggest release at Brutus Monroe, with MANY new stamps and other items, as well!
For my card today, Im featuring their new 6×8 floral stamp set. This set is full of flowers and leaves, and they are perfect for stamping out and fussy cutting.
I started this card by stamping out as many blooms and leaves as I could one a sheet of paper using embossing ink. Then, I added my Gilded embossing powder and heat embossed all of the images.
After they were embossed, I quickly colored them in using my Surface Inks and a blender tool. You could also color with markers or pencils, but if you want to color many simple images quickly, a blender tool is the way to go!
Once all my images were colored, I fussy cut them out and placed them aside so I could work on my background. I used the June Stencil of the Month and applied some Media Paste over some Midnight cardstock using my palette knife. After it was dry, I added some gold splatters by using my Gilded Liquid Elements.
I then arranged all my flowers and leaves on the front of the card. I used both foam adhesive and liquid glue for this. I added a sentiment using the same Midnight cardstock and Gilded embossing powder.
The sentiment is from the new Feathered Friends stamp set, and after I embossed it I fussy cut the sentiment out, and adhered it with some foam adhesive.
To finish the card, I popped it up on a white card base using some Foam Adhesive.
Such a pretty card and not very time consuming to make! All the elements just work together to create a card that will bring a smile to someone’s face.
