Rockstar Pets ATCs!

ATCs! Have you heard of them? Have you created your own yet?

When I first starting creating, I had never heard of ATCs. Once I learned what they were, I was hooked! They are little 2.5″x3.5″ cards that you “art” on in your own style. These cards can then be given away or traded with by other artists. You can start to collect these little cards from artists all around the globe!

For my ATCs, I decided to go colorful and fun! I used some of my IRIDESCENT DECO FOIL over my DISTRESS CIRCLES CLEAR TONER SHEET. Then, I sewed this clear sheet onto my cards after I ink blended the backgrounds! I wanted bold and colorful backgrounds, so I used a number of my SURFACE INKS and blended the different hues together. I love that this IRIDESCENT foil picks up so many colors, so it matches perfectly with each ATC!

I sewed around the clear sheet on three sides, and left the fourth side open so I could pour in some glitter. After the glitter was added, I sewed up that fourth side, creating my shaker ATCs!

Then, I stamped out my ROCKSTAR PETS stamp set, and colored them with my STYLEFILE MARKERS. I then fussy cut my images so I could glue them onto my ATCs.

For the dog that is rocking out, I actually cut him in half and then added one half to each ATC. I love how funky this looks! The cat is his usualy hipster self, who doesn’t bat an eye at his overly happy friend.

Lastly, I stamped and embossed the sentiments from the ROCKSTAR PETS stamp set in ALABASTER WHITE EMBOSSING POWDER onto some RAVEN CARDSTOCK. Then, I cut down these sentiments and glued them onto each card.

I love how fun these cards are! I hope this inspires you to go ahead and create some of your own ATCs. Find some crafty friends to swap with.
